Police hunts man who kidnapped lover to raise cash for marriage

A suspected kidnapper arrested by the Force Intelligence Bureau’s (FIB) Intelligence Response Team (IRT) has said he planned with three others to kidnap his ex-lover in order to raise money to marry her.

Bello Ahmed, 25, resident in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said he arranged to kidnap his lover, Hannah Queen, following the pressure she put on him to marry her.
Others arrested alongside him were Ibrahim Mohammed, 30, Bilyamiyu Mohammed, 30, and Uche Daniel, 30.

The Nation reports that Ahmed relocated to Nigeria and rented a three-bedroom apartment in the victim’s estate at Apo, Abuja.
