Daily Post reported that the former Super Eagles striker posted a video clip of himself receiving treatment in an unnamed hospital on social media on Wednesday.
His caption read: “God is good, the pain is too much for me and my heart cannot carry it anymore.”
Reacting to the post, former Nigeria internationals such as Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Okocha and Sam Sodje took to their Instagram accounts to send get well messages to their former colleague.
“Get well my brother. God is with you,” Kanu wrote.
Okocha said, ”Get well soon Nwanne.”
And Sodje wrote:”Hey bro get well soon.”
Ogenyi Onazi sent a message of support. “Get well soon Kral.”
